Nicolas Tavormina

Head of Wealth and Estate Planning

Nicolas Tavormina is the Head of the Wealth and Estate Planning Strategists team within Morgan Stanley’s Family Office Resources. Nicolas has more than 25 years of experience in wealth planning, providing guidance to ultra high net worth individuals and families on the benefits of an organized succession plan, effective family governance and efficient wealth organization strategies. Nicolas works in coordination with the clients’ US and non-US legal and tax advisors involved in the evaluation of tailored solutions, considering the circumstances and goals of each family, its members and its wealth.
 

Nicolas has written several articles on wealth and estate planning topics, including succession planning trends, organization and transfer of wealth, pre-immigration considerations, planning opportunities during market downturns, and the importance of the family values. He is a frequent public speaker at wealth and estate planning industry events. 
 

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Nicolas led the wealth planning efforts for international clients at Credit Suisse Securities USA LLC and at Santander Private Banking. Prior to moving to the wealth planning field, he served as in-house legal counsel of Banco Santander Rio in Argentina, providing legal advice to the corporate, investment and private banking areas.
 

He received his J.D. (equivalent) from Universidad de Belgrano (Argentina), his master’s in finance from Universidad del CEMA (Argentina), and his LL.M. from Florida International University (USA).
