Robert Walker is the Global Head of Stewardship for MSIM and leads our stewardship, proxy voting and investee engagement agenda and activities alongside our investment teams. Rob joined the firm in 2022 and has 22 years of investment experience. Prior to this, Rob was Head of Asset Stewardship Strategy at State Street Global Advisors where he was responsible for coordinating voting and engagement as well as client engagement, regulation and thought leadership. Rob has also held a number of financial services roles most recently at HSBC Bank Plc and Kepler Cheuvreux where he lead research coverage on Corporate Governance and sustainability issues. Rob holds a B.A. in History & Politics from Queen Mary, University of London.
