Desmond Foong joined Morgan Stanley in 2011 and has 18 years of investment experience. He is the Co-Head of Asian Listed Real Estate within Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) and portfolio manager for Asian listed real estate strategies. Prior to joining MSIM, Mr. Foong was an investment analyst at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), primarily focusing on the Asian real estate and financial sectors. Mr. Foong received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, a Masters degree in International and Development Economics from Yale University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is based in Singapore.
