Mr. Buie is an Executive Director and serves as a portfolio manager for Atlanta Capital's Fixed Income team with primary responsibility for fixed income portfolio management, research and trading. Prior to joining Atlanta Capital in 2009, Mr. Buie was with Earnest Partners in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as portfolio manager to their short duration and core fixed income products. Prior to Earnest Partners, he was a Vice President and portfolio manager at Seix Advisors in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. Mr. Buie holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
