Sofia is the Head of Sustainability Strategy & Solutions at MSIM, the investment management arm of Morgan Stanley. She specialises in sustainability-related products across public and private markets and the use of ESG tools and methodologies to achieve such strategies. Sofia also analyses sustainability regulations and label requirements to ensure sustainability-related product integrity and credibility. Other focus areas include ESG-related investment due diligence, developing sustainability marketing and positioning, stewardship reporting, thought leadership and training.

Sofia was previously a private equity and real estate product and portfolio specialist, with experience in M&A, integration and institutional client business development. She started her career as a PWM Fixed Income Sales & Trading Analyst in Morgan Stanley. Sofia has worked at the Firm's New York and Hong Kong offices and is currently based in London.

Sofia holds a Masters of Science from Imperial College London, a Chinese Language & Culture Certificate from Tsinghua University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong. Sofia is a Certified ESG Analyst® with the European Federation of Financial Analysts. She also has CFA UK Certificates in ESG Investing, Impact Investing and a Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
