Biography

Marc van’t Noordende is a Managing Director and Operating Partner with relevant industry experience across different sectors for both publicly and privately owned companies globally. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), he was Chief Executive Officer of NKT Cables between 2011 and 2015. With annual sales of more than €1.2 billion, NKT Cables was a mid-sized supplier of a wide range of power cables with more than 10 manufacturing sites in Europe and in China. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Theolia S.A. (currently known as Futuren), an independent wind energy project developer and renewable power producer. From 2000 to 2008, he had a number of positions at Essent N.V. the largest Dutch utility company. In his last position with the Group he served as its Chief Operating Officer. Before Essent, Marc spent 12 years with chemical multinational AkzoNobel in different roles and across different departments, including Finance, Business Development, Sales and General Management. Marc holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a law degree from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
