What Should I Do With My Money? Season 2 Trailer

Transcript

Genesis: early on I knew that if I had one objective in my life, it was to never be poor again.

Maxwell: I'm always aware that financially anything can happen at any time

Claire: The door's just kind of open to think big, what can I do to save the planet?

Jamie: The way we manage our money is inextricably linked to our ability to take care of our loved ones and make our dreams come true. And that can make it extra hard to know if we're making the right decisions, but we don't have to do it alone.

I am Jamie Rowe, and we're back with more of what should I do with my money? An original podcast from Morgan Stanley, we match real people asking real questions about their money. With experienced financial advisors,

Money is emotional, and this season the stakes are high from prenups to passing a legacy to their children from affording a dream home. To literally wanting to save the planet. Our guests get to the heart of what matters to the most, and you get answers to some of the questions you might have yourself.

Natalie: What I really want the answer to, which I know is not answerable, is what's the right way to share finances?

Jacob: I don't know what I don't know. Should I be completely debt free? Like, how do I approach that?

Maxwell: I'm heavily vested in my employer's stock plan. What is the best way to liquidate instead of just sitting there in love with it, because I keep seeing how much it goes up.

Genesis: my goal is to buy this house. how much do I have to make per year in order to actually afford it?

Jamie: No matter where you are with your money, our financial advisors show once again that a little guidance can go a long way.

Kathleen: What you really wanna be focused on is, do I have substantial net worth, to meet all of my needs over a lifetime?

Stacey: From a cashflow planning and budgeting standpoint, my kind of motto is you can't manage what you don't measure.

Evan: I think this is a huge part of the conversation, being able to sit down with your children and talk to them about investing, saving, and also, what this money means to you.

Jamie:  Join us to hear how a conversation can turn concern into confidence.

Jacob: I think the biggest takeaway is I don't think my wife and I have to go through this financial journey alone

Genesis: I'm feeling more confident, and just eager to keep on learning.

David: This was so helpful and I'm really excited.

Jamie: Season two of what should I do with my Money Launches May 29th. Find and follow us wherever you listen.
