Morgan Stanley Tactical Value makes opportunistic private, long-term and likely illiquid investments globally across all asset classes and across the capital structure.

We focus on providing nimble, opportunistic capital with the flexibility to invest across asset classes, sectors and geographies in changing market environments. We seek to build a portfolio of uncorrelated investments unconstrained by the usual rigid alternative investment mandates.

Given our investments are not constrained by a single standard asset class, we have the flexibility to allocate capital to companies that are in complex situations and we seek to partner with these companies in such a way that meets their strategic and financial objectives. Our team’s expertise, including deep structuring experience, is complemented by Morgan Stanley’s broad capabilities to meet bespoke capital needs or analyze idiosyncratic risks, which allows us to be a valuable and unique partner.

Tactical Value’s flexible investment strategy and the depth of our investment team’s expertise, combined with Morgan Stanley’s global resources, network and franchise, allows us to move quickly and focus on providing nimble, opportunistic capital to more complex asset classes or credit situations.
