Toru Bando is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, Chief Investment Officer of MSREI, Co-Head of North Haven Real Estate Funds (“NHREF”) and the Head of MSREI Asia. Toru joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 and was named Head of MSREI Asia in 2015, Co-Head of NHREF in 2019 and Chief Investment Officer of MSREI in 2022. Toru is responsible for overseeing MSREI’s investment strategies, the global opportunistic / value-add fund series and all MSREI activity in the Asia region. He has 25 years of investing experience. Toru received a B.A. in Mathematics from Tufts University.
