Gautam is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management with the MSIM Global Stewardship Team. Gautam’s responsibilities include corporate governance research and analysis across domestic and global investment strategies. In this capacity he provides support to portfolio managers across multiple investment groups within MSIM. In addition, he is a member of the MSIM Proxy Review Committee, which among other things, is responsible for corporate governance policy development and implementation along with case-by-case analysis and decisions on governance and shareholder issues. Gautam has worked in global stewardship for the past 18 years. Prior to joining MSIM, Gautam has worked on accounting audits for 4 years. Gautam graduated with BCom from Mumbai University and earned his PGDBA (Diploma), Finance from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
