Uday is a research analyst on the Emerging Markets Equity team focusing on macroeconomic and thematic research. He re-joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 and had earlier worked in the firm from 2010 to 2012. He has 15 years of investment experience. Prior to joining the firm, Uday worked in GMO as a macro strategist in their emerging markets equity fund. Previously, he has worked as an economist in Nomura in the sovereign credit ratings team. He received his Master’s in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta and his BSc. in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta.
