Biography

Helen is the Director of Research at Calvert Research and Management overseeing deep proprietary research leveraging the Calvert Principles for Responsible Investment. At this role, she seeks to identify global companies that are positioned to responsibly lead in current and emerging environmental and social secular trends. Helen joined Calvert Research and Management in 2018. She began her career in the investment management industry in 2005 and has worked in in both public and private markets. Previously at Calvert, she was a Calvert senior research analyst covering the apparel and retail industries. Before joining Calvert, she held a senior investment position at IFG Development Group, a family office focused on private investments in the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, Helen was an associate director at Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company (PAAMCO-Prisma) where she sourced, analyzed, seeded, co-invested, and oversaw a portfolio of emerging managers. Helen started her career at Segal Consulting, where she served as an actuarial analyst for some of the largest public pension plans in California. Helen earned a B.S. in Statistics from the University of California Santa Barbara and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where she was a Robert Toigo Fellow.
