Biography

Anson Chan Vice President, Global Stewardship Morgan Stanley Investment Management Anson joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 2007, where he is responsible for corporate governance policy and proxy voting practices in the Global Stewardship Team. In this capacity, he provides support to portfolio managers across multiple investment groups within MSIM on global proxy voting and other corporate governance matters. Anson was a Senior Corporate Governance analyst at TIAA-CREF, responsible for the proxy voting of domestic and global portfolio companies and has worked in corporate governance for the past 20 years. Anson graduated with a BA in Economics from New York University and earned his MBA from the Fordham University Business School.
