Venkie Shantaram is a Managing Director and Operating Partner with more than 28 years of relevant experience in strategic and operational consulting, as well as in leading large, complex businesses. Prior to joining MSIP, he held Regional CEO roles at Compass Group, a global food services organization, where he transformed the Europe and Middle East region of €5 billion, across 25 markets and 130,000 staff and rejuvenated a £1.5 billion Emerging Markets business, across 14 markets and 90,000 staff. From 2013 to 2017, Venkie led the Asian business at Aggreko, a distributed power rental business, and drove new ventures through his prior role as Group Business Development Director. From 2000 to 2013, Venkie was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising energy companies globally across the value chain on a range of issues. He also advised companies on India market entry at KPMG between 1993 and 1998. Venkie holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelors in Business from Delhi University.
