Biography

Michael Occi is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and a member of the Morgan Stanley Private Credit Team, where he focuses on operating activities for group. Mr. Occi joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 and has held a variety of roles across Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking, with a focus on covering financial services clients. Most recently, Mr. Occi was Head of Financial Institutions Equity Capital Markets. As part of this mandate in that role, he was responsible for the Firm’s listed permanent capital efforts, including for ’40 Act products. Through his 16 years of client advisory work, Michael has executed hundreds of equity, debt and M&A transactions. Within the BDC sector, specifically, Michael has led the structuring and execution for many key IPOs; additionally, Michael has led dozens of opportunistic debt and equity offerings as well. Michael graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University, with a BA in Finance and Accounting.
