Biography
Claus Vinge Skrumsager is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Head of North Haven Secured Private Credit (“NHSPC”). Mr. Skrumsager joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management (“MSIM”) in 2017 to lead the establishment of MSIM’s European private real asset backed credit platform NHSPC and today manages in excess of €2.5bn of committed capital on the platform. Prior to joining MSIM, Mr. Skrumsager was Co-Head of Morgan Stanley’s EMEA Capital Markets, Co-Head of Global Fixed Income Markets, served as a member of the EMEA cross divisional Operating and Risk Committees and as a Senior Manager under the PRA and FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime. Mr. Skrumsager brings more than 25 years of capital markets experience with a focus on fixed income markets. Since joining Morgan Stanley in June 2007, he built the credit and rates solutions capital markets franchise, including establishing Morgan Stanley’s European Loan Solutions Group. Mr. Skrumsager started his capital markets career at Goldman Sachs in 1998, prior to which he worked at the Central Bank of Denmark, Danish Ministry of Finance and as part-time teacher at the University of Copenhagen. Mr. Skrumsager holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Cand. Polit from the University of Copenhagen.
